Michael Agyepong 

Personal Artist Statement, Bio, ..whatever: 

Hello there! I'm Michael Agyepong, I'm a multi-media artist based in Denver, CO. I was trained as a studio artist from the University of Denver. Today, I work in a wide range of media, including, Oil painting, Illustration, and Digital art, including video.

 

 My work centers around themes of fantasy, black identity, contrast, and duality. I make my art to break down the barriers between reality and the underlying emotions of a subject through shape and color.

 

 My work has been presented in public collections such as the Davis Gallery at the University of Denver and The Deline Family Reading Room at the Anderson Academic Commons in Denver, CO.

I also have recently been included in the 2023 Made in Colorado Group show exhibition.
